– Collaboratively crafted and led the liturgy of the two Sunday services, regularly taught church school for all ages, fully engaged in the fellowship and life of the congregation, preached quarterly, continued learning through bi-weekly seminars with the Dallas Lilly Resident cluster and designed a church and city-wide Presbyterian young adult ministry.  Church size: 1,500; Community type: urban

– Authored and published church curriculum, directed two conferences and taught multiple classes to encourage informed partnerships between established churches and new Latino Immigrants in the American South.  Procured and managed over $30,000 in grant funding from the Practicing Our Faith Valparaiso Project (Lilly Endowment).

Instructed one-hour language review class for ten students five days a week, collaborated with five-member teaching team, created curriculum summaries, supported professor, graded tests and eased new students’ transitions into seminary.

Chaplaincy Intern
– Provided pastoral care for patients and their families in the Emergency Room, Intensive Care Units, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Postpartum floor.  Grady is Georgia’s largest hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Center and the public hospital for the city of Atlanta.  Its clientele is 80% African American and 12% Hispanic.

– Translated for and accompanied clients to social service organizations, supervised and tracked unaccompanied minors and researched international political situations for refugee and asylum cases.
